Live It Up at PGA National Resort and Spa

The PGA National Resort and Spa is a Florida golf vacation paradise. Especially if you are looking for a place that offers primarily golf at a world class resort and spa. If you don’t really need all the extras that Disney World offers then head south to Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Set in an upscale community this resort offers the best of the best. This resort and area make me think of big wig executive types with their ultra tan wives carrying designer purses and spending loads of cash at the spas and shops.

Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course is a Great Warm Up Course

And last but not least. Wait it is the least. Weighing in at only 2,913 yards Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course is a nine hole course that can be used as a warm up for the Magnolia (next door) or for that quick nine before you hit the parks.

Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course is great for the whole family. Short holes, wide open fairways and greens…equals happy golfer. Maybe you’ve been worn out by the rigorous play of the other challenging Disney courses. Oak Trail offers a chance to keep your swing sharp while allowing your mind to relax. No hard core evaluation of approach shots or hazard play. This course is design for the slower paced golfer. Think the old couple in Caddy Shack. That’s the style at this great track.

*Adult Guest & Junior Guest Golf Rates are per person for greens fee and pre-round practice balls. Replay rates are 50% of applicable full rate on same day; on space-available basis and may not be reserved in advance.

It’s a winding course through villas, forests, and lakes. You’ll rave over the atmosphere that is framed by boats, lighthouses, and canals.

Get out the Big Stick if You’re Going to Play Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course

Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course is the longest of the five Disney courses (7190 yards-Blue). Most of the holes on this course have water (11 of 18) so make sure to bring several sleeves of balls when playing here. This course is also home to the PGA Tour’s “National Car Rental Golf Classic” (Shared with the Palm Course).

The Magnolia Golf Course gets its name from the 1500 magnolias that guard the course. Just because you are not at the theme parks doesn’t mean that you won’t run into Mickey. Depending on where your ball lands on #6 you could end up hitting out of a Mickey Mouse sand trap silhouette.
