Playa Blanca is one of three main holiday resorts on the popular island of Lanzarote. But it really stands alone in terms of the quality of its beaches. Whilst it also tends to enjoy much better weather then the other resorts on the island – especially during the winter months – thanks to its fantastic microclimate.
Tourists have been flocking to the Canary Island of Lanzarote since the 1970´s. But the resort of Playa Blanca has only really evolved over the last decade – as contstruction work here commenced long after the other resorts of Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise were created. As a result all amenities here are as good as new – a factor which has helped the resort to become established as the second most popular destination on the island.
